Zero Cloud Storage Guarantee: Peekem does not record, upload, monitor, or store any camera video, microphone audio, or user data on any central web server or database. All media streams flow directly peer-to-peer (P2P) between your devices.

1. Information We Collect

Peekem is designed with a strict privacy-first architecture. We collect zero personal identifying information (PII).

  • No User Accounts: You do not need to register, sign up, or provide email addresses or phone numbers.
  • Zero Tracking Cookies & Cookieless Telemetry: We do not track your browsing habits, run advertising pixels, or sell data to third parties. Performance telemetry operates in strict cookieless mode without storing cookies or profiling visitors, fully compliant with GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.
  • Ephemeral Signaling: WebRTC peer connection signals pass through decentralized signaling servers solely to discover device IP addresses for direct P2P connection establishment, and are discarded immediately.

2. Peer-to-Peer Encryption & Zero Backdoor Access

All video, audio, and sensor data packets are encrypted at the hardware media layer using WebRTC DTLS-SRTP (AES-128/256 GCM). Media flows directly between your authorized devices. We maintain zero backdoor access and cannot decrypt or view your camera feeds.

3. On-Device Transparency & Anti-Stalkerware Notice

In accordance with global platform safety and anti-stalkerware guidelines, Peekem displays visible status indicators on broadcasting devices whenever streaming is active. The application must never be deployed covertly on devices without the owner's explicit authorization.
